Founder

Russell has a long history of starting and running successful companies. He started Russell Eppright Homes (REH) in 1996 and quickly turned it into one of the the most successful custom homebuilding companies in Austin, Texas. REH was named custom builder of the year by the Austin Business Journal several times in the past 25 years. Russell has had a passion for hunting and building/ fabricating since he was a young man. The Cabra is his dream and a culmination of all that he has learned over the years.

Among his many hobbies, Russell is an avid pilot and holds three jet-type ratings. Much of his mechanical design philosophy comes from his in-depth knowledge of jet aircraft systems. Russell is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in building construction. His interested include hunting, fishing, skiing and spending time with family.

COO

David is a seasoned manufacturing leader with extensive manufacturing startup and turnaround experience in aerospace, oil & gas, heavy four (4) wheeled vehicles, and general industrial manufacturing. David has started up green field operations, expanded facilities & operations, and built entire organizations. David has managed large machine shops doing aerospace and defense assemblies and large scale 4 wheeled vehicle material handling equipment for the U.S. Military. David is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Technology. David has held positions in engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, program management, and C-Suite. David and his family enjoy motorcycles, camping, backpacking, hunting, and rock climbing.

CTO

Jeff is the Owner and President of Acme Holdings, Inc. which invests in, owns and leads several small industrial businesses with facilities throughout the United States including: Rolltechs Specialty Vehicles, Enoven Truck Body and Equipment, and Electro Coatings. These businesses are involved in specialty vehicle fabrication, metal finishing and have delivered aerospace, broadcast, agricultural and oil-field products worldwide.

Jeff holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Texas. He is originally from California and became a Texan back in 2001. When not busy at work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.

VP of Sales & Marketing

Lawson has worked in Sales & Marketing for the Sewell Automotive Group and in the outdoor field with Gameguard Outdoors. HE has been an avid hunter all his life, so he understands the needs of our customers. Lawson desires his clients to love the Cabra as much as he does through outstanding customer service and care. His greatest joy is building relationships with other outdoorsmen.

Lawson has a degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. Outside of work, Lawson spends most of his time with his wife, chocolate labrador and of course, hunting.

VP of Engineering

Kevin has managed engineering departments across a wide range of industries, and has extensive leadership in mechanical design and manufacturing practices of over 25 years. Kevin holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Texas State University. In his personal time, Kevin enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
